Summer activities
Spread across an amazing 45,000 square metres, the Freizeitpark Zell is an outdoor adventure park aimed at families. Highlights include a huge sandpit, a beach volleyball court, a bouldering tower and a fun court for streetball and basketball. The 18-hole minigolf course welcomes families keen to determine who is the best player out of Mum, Dad and the kids.
The "Fichtenschloss" is a huge adventure park made from pine and fir wood. Located near the Rosenalm in the Zillertal Arena (accessible using the Rosenalmbahn cable car) it is a great place for the young and the young-at-heart to run, climb and jump. The highlight is the 18-metre-high lookout tower with great views of the valley. Nearby you will also find a swimming area suitable for families.
Great for all ages, this summer toboggan run is like a mini rollercoaster winding its way into the valley. It is located near the Rosenalmbahn cable car and features lots of fun and thrilling elements such as banked corners, up-and-down rollers and several 360° spins. Suitable for children aged 10 years and older. Children aged 4 years and older can ride with an adult.
The Arena Skyliner comprises four zipwires up to 738 metres in length. Adventurers reach speeds of up to 50km/h while enjoying fabulous views of the Gerlosstein mountain.
Fly like an eagle! This zipline 600 metres in length and 131 metres above the ground is a real hit with adrenaline junkies and a great way to see the valley from a new perspective.
From escape rooms, lasertag and adventure golf to VR experiences and a cosy restaurant - all this awaits you at the modern leisure center in Mayrhofen. Here you'll find plenty of entertainment for the whole family, whatever the weather!
