Culinary events – a term that is probably not often found in Tyrolean hotel kitchens. However, we are of the opinion that our homemade, meanwhile internationally known, alpine sushi and our Gröstl hike to the Zellberghütte are a perfect match.
The beginning was as successful as many of the creations developed by chef-de-cuisine Stefan Egger: The desire to use regional ingredients and be creative at the same time. For a herring festival in 2016, Alpine Sushi with exclusively local fish or venison, red rice or polenta from Styria and fresh vegetables such as savoy cabbage or salad was created for the first time. Since then, our delicious creations have become an integral part of our gourmet hotel in Tyrol and our guests can no longer imagine life without them. Thanks to a TV report on ServusTV, our Alpine Sushi is now even more popular – let's see where the raw fish adventure will take us!
Those who prefer it more traditional, can look forward to our second, sporty mountain event with enjoyment factor as a reward! At our popular Zellberghütte.
On the Gröstl hike to the Zellberghütte, several of our family members have invited guests to take the bus from the hotel to Zellberg, before setting out on a comfortable hike where a breath-taking panorama awaits participants – a tradition we have upheld for over 30 years. In about one hour you arrive at the picturesque lodge where a warm welcome awaits you. Culinary delicacies, such as Tyrolean Gröstl and apple strudel round off the unique alpine feeling. An unforgettable mountain experience in the Ziller Valley!
